New Hubble Image of ISON | Bruce Gary / BPEarthWatch

Hubble Space Telescope image taken Oct 09 and released Oct 17. The image was constructed from two B-band images (~ 8 min exposures, each) and two I-band images (~ 6-min exposures, each). The image pairs were joined to provide a larger field of view. An image public release (by STScI) states that the tail appears redder than the coma.
